Michael Martin

Chief Executive Officer

Mike joined JUWI in 2008 as President & CEO, and has over 25 years of experience that includes senior level finance and development positions for renewable energy generation companies. At JUWI, Mike is responsible for leading the company’s efforts to develop, design and construct a pipeline of utility-scale solar PV projects. Mike is charged with building partnerships with leading equipment suppliers, large-scale energy off-takers (IOUs, municipalities, rural electrics, industrials and various government entities), communities, local agencies and equity investment partners, and overseeing the company’s profitable development, financing, construction and operation of large-scale PV projects in the U.S.  Prior to joining JUWI, Mike served in various roles with Energia Global Ltd., Econergy International plc, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Northwestern University and an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Steve Ihnot

Chief Financial Officer

Steve joined JUWI in 2009 and has served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer throughout his tenure. Steve has over 25 years of experience in the electric power business in various roles in finance and development both in the United States and internationally. At JUWI Steve is responsible for leading the commercial components of the development, construction and operations of the company’s projects, including raising investment capital, debt financing, and contract negotiations. Prior to joining JUWI, Steve served as the Chief Financial Officer for Mesoamerica Energy in San José, Costa Rica; Director of Finance for TECO Power Services; and various roles with Entergy Corporation in corporate finance and supporting the company’s international businesses. Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Environmental Management from the University of Texas at Austin.

Mark Marion

Chief Operating Officer

Mark joined juwi in its founding year of 2008 and has served in many roles within and across engineering, project management, construction and project development disciplines. Currently Mark is responsible for leading project execution from the greenfield stage to juwi’s O&M obligations. Mark oversees juwi’s development, project management, procurement and engineering teams. Prior to joining juwi, Mark worked in the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell and Clean Fuel groups of TIAX (the successor of Arthur D. Little’s technology consulting practice) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Mark holds Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Chemical Engineering from Yale University.

Darnell Everett

Vice President, Projects

Darnell joined JUWI in 2009 and brings over 20 years of construction experience to his role as VP, Projects. Primary responsibilities include the management and oversight of project managers, project site teams, safety and contractors. As a certified construction manager, Darnell’s depth of planning, design, engineering and construction experience expands across the US, working with a variety of agencies. Prior to JUWI, Darnell provided construction and project management services to energy service companies such as Noresco, Ameresco and Pepco Energy Services. Darnell holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech at Blacksburg, Virginia.

John Tembrock

Vice President, Operations

John joined JUWI in 2010 and has served in a leadership role for operations and engineering throughout his tenure. John has over 25 years of experience in the electric power generation industry through various technical roles in controls, automation, instrumentation, and data acquisition as well as project management. At JUWI, John is responsible for leading the technical aspects of the development, design, and operations of the company’s projects. Prior to joining JUWI, John served as the Sr. Systems Engineer for Honeywell Process Solutions in Denver, CO; Sr. Control System Engineer at US Filter in Colorado Springs, CO; and Project Engineer at Cegelec Automation in Malvern, PA. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Denver with a concentration in Microprocessor Systems.

Travis Tucker, CFA

Vice President, Finance and Accounting

Travis joined JUWI in 2011 and has served in various roles in the finance, accounting, and tax department during his tenure. At JUWI Travis is responsible for supporting the commercial components of the development, construction, and operations of the company’s projects, including raising investment capital and contract negotiations. Additionally, Travis leads the accounting and financial reporting for the company, managing both internal and external relationships. Prior to joining JUWI, Travis worked in J.P. Morgan Oil & Gas Investment Banking Group in Houston, Texas for four years. Travis holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from the Rice University. Travis is a CFA Charterholder.
