San Isabel

The 30 Megawatt (MW) AC San Isabel Solar Project achieved substantial completion in December 2016. The Project is located north of Trinidad, Colorado, and was constructed by JSI Construction Group, the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Contractor.  The solar project was the first utility scale solar project in Las Animas County, CO.  JSI interconnected at an interconnection voltage of 115-kV to an existing transmission line owned by Tri-State Generation & Transmission Association, Inc.  San Isabel Solar LLC owns the facility and will be operated by the JSI O&M Group. The solar facility includes a scenic view of the southern Colorado Spanish Peaks.
